This is the second time that we go to a winery near the castle of Belmonte. This time it is Mont-Reaga winery.

This winery is located only 6 kms from Belmonte and it is a new generation design winery decorated on a very touchy way.

The winery belongs to a family who is a few years comer in the sector of wine. Their philosophy is a result of endless discussions  about the specific characteristics that this family looked into the wine. That search led them to create their own winery. This is a winery decorated and mounted with  a lot of taste. Some of their rooms are extremely elegant and cozy.

They have a spectacular tasting room in which we will have 3 wines to take what better. They commented that gradually their wines are making headway both domestically and internationally.

This visit is combined with a visit to the castle of Belmonte. This castle left us speechless the last time we came. I have the feeling  that many significant moments in the history of Spain have happened inside walls.

It is in a perfect condition and everything is designed so that visitors can easily understand everything that happened within its walls. The design of the visit to this castle should be a model for how to manage these type of monuments.

We will have lunch at the best restaurant in Belmonte, with typical food of the region. The cost of food is not included in the tour price and is 22 euros per person. We will have lamb, (corderazo)

This is the program of the day:

11h Departure from Madrid (Plaza del Conde de Casal)

13h Visit to Bodega Mont-Reaga and tasting of 3 of their wines.

15 h Having lunch in La Muralla Restaurant (Belmonte)

16,30h Guided visit of the Castle of Belmonte

18 h Departure to Madrid.

20h Arrival to Madrid.
