He estado este fin de semana en Lisboa presente en el European Wine Bloggers Conference. He de decir que me he sentido muy a gusto con lo que he visto y he vivido. Y esto por muy diversas razones:

1) El evento estaba magníficamente organizado.

2) Los asistentes, en general, eran un grupo fantástico, con una enorme pasión por el vino, por conocer gente, por intercambiar experiencias y por pasárselo bien.

3) Saben de vino lo que no está escrito.

4) Han encontrado en el vino un motivo por el que reunirse y disfrutar.

5) Tienen muy claro que la comunicación en el mundo del vino está cambiando.

6) Tienen inquietudes, y saben de comunicación. Está muy bien tener ese conocimiento pero está mucho mejor compartirlo, y mucho más si se comparte con gente y personas con gustos afines de cualquier lugar del mundo.

7) Saben que están en el buen camino y están disfrutando enormemente en el recorrido.

8) Cada una de las presentaciones o ponencias han sido realizadas por muy buenos ponentes, con unas exposiciones muy bien hechas y muy atractivas, en un entorno perfecto.

Todo esto no puede llevar más que a la satisfacción de bodegas y participantes.

Este mundo está cambiando rápido y cada uno debe preguntarse si está haciendo lo posible por adaptarse a los cambios.

El tiempo lo dirá. Pero este evento tiene la pinta de que va a más.

Enhorabuena Ryan, Gabriela, Robert, porque habéis hecho un gran trabajo. Gracias a los asistentes, porque aunque no conocía a muchos de vosotros habéis hecho que me sintiera uno más dentro del grupo desde el primer minuto. Y eso sin la posibilidad de visitar mucho Lisboa. Aunque lo que vimos estuvo fenomenal.

Y ocurre como en las buenas películas, en las que el director hace un guiño en la escena final para que el que salga de la sala salga con una sonrisa. En este caso fue una cena divertidísima, a la que tuve la suerte de asistir, simplemente porque perdí el vuelo de vuelta del domingo. Fue realmente un premio con el que no contaba.

Muy divertido, didáctico y motivador para los participantes. Muy interesante y provechoso para las empresas colaboradoras.

I have been this weekend in Lisbon to be present on the European Wine Bloggers Conference. I have to say that I have felt very comfortable on what I have seen and lived because of several reasons:

1) The event was very well organized
2) The assistants were in general, a fantastic group, with a lot of passion about wine, about knowing people, about interchanging experiences and having fun.
3) They know a lot about wine.
4) They have found in wine a very good reason to meet each other.
5) They have very clear that communication on the wine world is changing.
6) They are very interested in trying to know what is going on, and they know about communication. It is good to have this knowledge, but it is even better if it is shared with people with similar hobbies and interests from many different places in the world.
7) They know they are on the good way and they are enjoying a lot during the journey.
8) There were very good speakers, with some exhibitions very well made and very attractive, in a perfect environment.

All this can take anything but satisfaction to wineries and participants.

This world is changing very fast, and everyone must wonder if he is doing its best to adapt to change.

Time will tell. Nevertheless I think that this event has the look of growing.

Congratulations Ryan, Gabriela, Robert. You have done a very good job. Thanks to the people present on the event, because though I did not know many of you, you have made it to feel integrated in the group since the first minute. And all this in spite of not having time to spend visiting the city. There was so much to do at the event…

And it happens like in good films, in which the Cinema director winkes to us on the final scene in order to make us smile when getting out. On this case it was a very funny dinner in a friendly and small restaurant. I was lucky I assisted only because I lost my plane back to Madrid. This was a nice present I did not expect it.

Very funny, didactic and motivating for the participants. Very interesting and fruitful for the collaborator companies.
